In a mystery crime drama that will give you giggling Thrills!"; "The famous Miss Withers and Detective Piper are here again in a crime drama funnier than a 'Penguin Pool' and 'Murder on the Blackboard!'") starring Edna May Oliver (as Hildegarde Withers), James Gleason (as Inspector Oscar Piper), Lola Lane, George Meeker, and Dorothy Libaire. Note that this was one of a series of six very popular detective comedies starring a female detective named Hildegarde Withers, who assists a police detective named Oscar Piper. The first movie in the series was "Penguin Pool Murder" in 1932, and Edna May Oliver played her in the first three movies, and then Helen Broderick played her in one, and Zasu Pitts in the final two.
