3 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (measure 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Race Wild (also released as "Racewild"), the 1926 Oscar Apfel silent Kentucky Derby horse racing sports melodrama (about a Kentucky colonel who will lose his plantation if his prize race horse doesn't win the Kentucky Derby, but a bad man wrecks the train carrying the horse to the track, but then the colonel's daughter saves the horse, but then the bad man drugs the jockey right before the race, but the colonel's daughter disguises herself as a boy and rides the horse to victory) starring "an all star cast including" Eileen Percy, Rex Lease, David Torrence, and John Miljan (billed as "John Miljohn"). I wonder if the author of National Velvet saw this movie, because both use the key plot point of a disguised girl winning a national horse race!
