Drums of Fu Manchu, the 1940 John English & William Witney Asian villain crime adventure serial ("A Republic Serial in 15 Thrilling Chapters"; "Suggested by stories by Sax Rohmer"; "Based on a novel by Sax Rohmer") starring Henry Brandon (in the title role as Dr. Fu Manchu), William Royle, Robert Kellard, Gloria Franklin, and Olaf Hytten. Note that a condensed feature version of this serial was released as a feature in 1943. Because there was a three year lapse between this serial version and the feature version, we list them as two separate movies.

Important Added Info: Note that apparently this serial was split into three different parts when it played in Spain (perhaps they showed them at Saturday matinees there), or the serial version was combined into a total of three parts, because this herald references the second "jornada" (likely the middle five chapters). We have seen one herald for "1a Jornada". If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that we have pictured the front and back of this 4-page Spanish herald. We opened it up and photographed the front and back together, but of course, normally you view it with just the front cover showing, because it was folded.
