An Original Vintage Theatrical Chapter #2 (The Mill of Disaster) Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Fighting Devil Dogs, the 1938 Robert M. Beche, William Witney, & John English Marines military science fiction (sci-fi) serial ("A Republic serial in 12 lightning episodes") starring Lee Powell, Bruce Bennett (billed as "Herman Brix"), Eleanor Stewart, Montagu Love, Hugh Sothern, and Lester Dorr (uncredited as the main villain, The Lightning). Note that, as often happened with 1930s and 1940s serials, this one was edited into a "feature version" (a condensed version of all the chapters, eliminating unnecessary subplots, and bringing it down to feature length). However, in this case, the feature version was not created and released until six years after the serial was released, so we list it as a separate entry, because of the long delay between the two.

Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. There are many pinholes around the edges, with some brown stains in the center of the image and some smudges and stains around the edges. Someone put much tape on the back, and a still was once attached to the back (see our images).
