An Original Vintage Magazine (measures 11" x 16" [28 x 41 cm]) (Learn More) McCall's Magazine, the "women's" magazine first published as "The Queen" from 1873 to 1897, when it was retitled "McCall's Magazine - The Queen of Fashion", and later the end part was dropped off. It claimed a readership of 8.4 million women in the early 1960s. In addition to articles about fashion (in the early days, they had paper dolls and children's clothing cut-outs in the magazine), they also had articles by famous writers, and Eleanor Roosevelt wrote a column for them from 1945 until her passing in 1962. In addition to illustrated articles (with some full-color artwork images), there were also many great ads (and sometimes people cut the ads out of the old issues and sell them individually). The magazine tried to change with the times through the years, but it became outdated, and it ceased publication in 2002.
