An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Right To Lie, the 1919 Edwin Carewe silent romantic family relationship crime murder melodrama (based on a story "By Jane Murfin"; about a woman who is the illegitimate daughter of a rich American, but grows up in an Italian convent; after her mother dies, her father brings her to America, and supports her, but tells no one she is his daughter, so they think she is his lover; that causes a scandal, and he has a heart attack and dies, but he tells his wife the truth; later, the daughter marries a man who does not know what has happened, and another man tries to blackmail her, and her husband kills him, but the wife gets him off by pretending to have had an affair with the blackmailer, feeling her lie was justified, because it served the greater good) starring Dolores Cassinelli (billed as "The Cameo Girl"), Frank Mills, Joe King, Warren Cook, and Grace Reals NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good. A small bit of the black tape is missing, but is otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
