If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a very odd poster! June Haver is incorrectly billed as "June Harver", and she is billed under Marilyn Monroe, whereas when the movie was first released in the U.S., Marilyn was fourth billed, so we feel safe to say it is a re-release. But in addition, the director is given as "J. Mankiewicz", who did not direct this movie, but who directed "All About Eve"! So it appears that the person who prepared the poster knew next to nothing about the movie they were showing other than that Marilyn Monroe was in it! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had very minor wear on the foldlines. It had numbers written in marker on the back of the right of the top border, and the last of them slightly bled through to the front in the top center of Marilyn's hair (see our image). The poster also had a couple of tears in the upper left border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but the restorer left alone the slight bleed-through at the top of Marilyn's hair (it is not very noticeable, and any restorer could easily touch up that area without re-backing the poster).
