Russo end-of-the-world science fiction (sci-fi) walking-dead undead zombie horror thriller ("They won't stay dead!"; "They keep coming back in a bloodthirsty lust for human flesh!... Pits the dead against the living in a struggle for survival!") starring Judith O'Dea, Duane Jones, Marilyn Eastman, Karl Hardman, Judith Ridley, Kyra Schon, Charles Craig, Keith Wayne, Randy Burr, S. William Hinzman (billed as "Bill Heinzman"; as the graveyard zombie), and George A. Romero (the director, as one of the Washington reporters!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster is a mystery! Of course, this movie was incredibly popular, and we have seen original one-sheets with the title in light green and dark green, and no one is too sure if one predates the other. In addition, we have seen one-color one-sheets similar to this one, which we have heard are from 1969, when the movie was shown all over the country. But this poster is different from those! It has the same image and tagline, but it is lacking the "IMAGE TEN" that is in the top left of the black background area of the other posters! So this is yet ANOTHER variation one-sheet. Our best guess would be that this is either from 1969 or very soon after (it is on the same sort of paper as the other posters like it we have seen, and it is definitely vintage. If any expert knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. But please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept the uncertainty as to exactly when it was issued. Condition: good to very good. The poster is printed on a paper that either was a different color on the front to begin with, or which darkened somewhat. It has some faint creases and scuffs scattered throughout, more so around the edges. It had a piece of tape on the back of each corner, which was removed.
