An Undated (probably 2000s) Re-Release Theatrical Folded Lebanese Movie Poster (measures 75 1/4" x 78" [191 x 198 cm]) (Learn More) Tang Shan Da Xiong (released in Hong Kong as "Tang Shan Da Xiong/The Big Boss", released in the U.S. in 1973 as "Fists of Fury"), the classic 1971 Lo Wei Hong Kong kung fu martial arts thriller ("Karate/Kung-Fu!"; "The new screen excitement that gives you the biggest kick of your life!"; "Karate/Kung-Fu! The oriental sensation - now gives America the action its been waiting for!"; "No evil on earth could survive the fury that was Bruce Lee!") starring Bruce Lee ("every limb of his body is a lethal weapon"), Maria Yi, Han Ying Chieh, Tony Liu, and Malalene. Note that this movie (and "The Chinese Connection") received very limited release in the United States until after the success of "Enter the Dragon", at which point both movies received wide U.S. releases. Also, note that Australia distributed this movie as "The Chinese Connection", and released Lee's next movie (Jing Wu Men) as "Fist of Fury", which further complicates things! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Zeineddine Important Added Info: Note that in the past two years, we at eMoviePoster.com were consigned recent Egyptian posters that were used at an Egyptian movie theater showing classic movies. We were told that these showings occurred starting around 20 years ago, and that they continued to the present day. Some of those posters appeared to be 10 or more years old, but others seemed to be from the last couple of years. In April 2021, we were consigned a handful of hand painted billboard sized Lebanese posters that apparently hung on the walls at similar Lebanese showings! Each of those measured around 6 feet by 12 feet, and each was a one of a kind poster, painted by a specific Lebanese artist, "Zeineddine". Since that time, we have been consigned around 20 more of these hand painted "billboard" Lebanese posters, and we are currently auctioning four them in four separate auctions. We have been told that this specific poster was used between 10 and 25 years ago at a showing of this movie in Lebanon, but we can't verify that for certain. The above is all the information we have about this poster, so please do not bid unless you can accept these uncertainties as to exactly when it was created and how it was used. Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
