Note that this movie was officially released in December of 1967 (to qualify for the Oscars), but this roadshow version under-performed at the box office, and an edited version was finally given a general release a year later in December 1968, and that continued into 1969. One could argue that the "regular" release posters from December 1968 and 1969 are from a sort of "continuous first release", but we are calling them a re-release ("R69") because of the long delay between the roadshow release and the regular release.

It was purchased from Western Costume Co. in Hollywood, and it includes a "certificate of authenticity" from "Hollywood Movie Costumes" (see our image) and this very cool costume includes faux seashells and seaweed!
