Son of the famous Will Rogers, he played his father in "The Story of Will Rogers". Some of his other movies include: The Vengeance Trail, The Eddie Cantor Story (also playing his father!), The Boy from Oklahoma, Wild Heritage, and The American Adventure. He passed away in 1993 at the age of 81. Important Added Info: Note that this item (which is a hardcover biography by Richard M. Ketchum, which is held in a deluxe slipcase) has been personally autographed (signed) by Will Rogers Jr. on the first interior blank page (see our image). There is a facsimile autograph of his famous father on the same page, but of course, the book is solely signed by Will Rogers Jr.! Our consignor has no certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to be authentic. Included with the book is a 5" x 7" photo of a young Will Rogers that we did not photograph (the photo was made in 1979 and the image comes from the Will Rogers Memorial). Also note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads. Condition: good. There are scratches on the photo on the cover of the slipcase, including in Rogers' face (see our image). Otherwise, the book is in really nice condition (see our images).
