What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had a thin strip of paper loss in the center of the "O" of "DOUBLE" in the title. It had similar paper loss at the top crossfold. Otherwise, there were a few small tears and tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of some folds. There were some pinholes, small tears, and tiny stains around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
