An Original Vintage Folded Dutch World War II Poster (measures 23" x 31 1/4" [58 x 79 cm]) (Learn More) Weg Er Mee (literally translates to "Away With It"), the 1943 Dutch World War II (WWII) poster created by the Nazi German-occupying forces to encourage people to join the Dutch Labor Front, and featuring Koekkoek art of men tearing down a golden calf (as with Moses in Exodus in the Bible). The Dutch Labor Front (Nederlandsche Arbeidsfront) was a national-socialist confederation established in 1942 by Reichs commissioner Arthur Seyss-Inquart. The other Dutch trade unions were dismantled and all of their assets were transferred to the Dutch Labor Front. Artist: M. AZ.
