An Original Vintage Folded East German Poster (measures 32 1/4" x 46" [82 x 117 cm]) (Learn More) the 1962 East German double-bill release of Unbandiges Spanien (literally translates to "Unruly Spain") the 1962 Jeanne & Kurt Stern East German Spanish Civil War documentary narrated by Norbert Christian, Mathilde Danegger, Manfred Krug, Ekkehard Schall, and Hilmar Thate AND The Spanish Earth, the 1937 Joris Ivens Spanish Civil War documentary (with English narration written by Ernest Hemingway and John Dos Passos) narrated by Orson Welles & Ernest Hemingway (in English) and Jean Renoir (in French), and featuring Manuel Azana, Jose Diaz, Dolores Ibarruri, and Enrique Lister. Note that Orson Welles recorded the commentary written by Ernest Hemingway and receives an on-screen credit, but Hemingway also decided to use his own voice. It is not clear which version of the film uses Hemingway's voice, but the most common print uses Welles NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Renau Condition: good. The bottom 3" of the poster was folded back at one time, as was the top 1". There are tears in those areas, as well as staple holes, and the poster is somewhat fragile.
