Date Sold 5/17/2020 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 80 2000s REPRODUCTION color English Front of House lobby cards. Note that at some point in the past ten to twenty years, some major English collector had reproductions made of sets of English front of house lobby cards. We have never auctioned any of these before, and we suspect that only a limited amount were made, but we really don't know. From the front, they look very much like original front of house lobby sets, but they are printed on a pure white paper, and when you turn them over, it is very obvious that they are reproductions, because of the white backs. We are auctioning these so that collectors who could never find (or possibly afford) the original sets can purchase these exact reproductions, but obviously, we don't want anyone who buys them from us to try to resell them as originals (but as we say, that is unlikely, because of the pure white backs). We previously auctioned some of these repro sets individually (the very best titles), and now we are auctioning other titles in these bulk lots (but there is only one of each set, and we have no others). We do not provide a list of these REPRODUCTIONS , but there are images of all of them. Condition: very good to fine. The REPRODUCTIONS are in nice condition!
