An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded German "A1" Movie Poster (measures 23" x 33" [58 x 84 cm]) (Learn More) Hold-Up pour Laura (literally translates to "Hold-Up for Laura"), the 1968 Jean Maley French romantic crime murder ransom action thriller (a brutal, but clever, thriller about a man who escapes from prison with the help of his girlfriend; he sends her to find his old partner, but the partner double-crosses him and kills him, and then goes to the girlfriend and tells her that he has gone out of the country and that she must raise a lot of money fast so that she can join him) starring Sylvie Breal (in the title role as Laura), Henri Lambert, Michel Charrel, Alekander Mincer (billed as "Alexandre Mincer"), Claudine Delveaux, Remy Longa, and Alain Bouvette. Note that this is a very confusing movie! It was made in France in 1968, and re-released there the following year, so it was obviously quite popular. But in 1970, it seems to have then been re-titled and re-released as "50 briques pour Jo". It also may have been released in English-speaking countries as "Faithful In My Fashion", but if so, we cannot find any record of it being re-released under those second two titles. But to make matters worse, the IMDb SOLELY lists it under "50 briques pour Jo", and doesn't mention the original title at all, which is clearly wrong. If anyone can help us untangle all this confusion, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good.
