Roy Del Ruth's It Happened on Fifth Avenue, the 1946 Roy Del Ruth New York City poor-man-rich-girl romantic comedy ("When the world's second richest man changes places with a hobo... Things really pop!"; "A guy with 50 bucks meets a gal with 50 million... But he loves her, anyhow!"; "It's happier than heaven!"; "It happens to be the year's rarest romance"; "It happens to be the year's warmest heart story"; "It happens to be the year's richest comedy") starring Don DeFore, Ann Harding, Charles Ruggles, Victor Moore, Gale Storm, Grant Mitchell, Edward Brophy, Edward Ryan Jr., and Alan Hale Jr. Note that this was Allied Artists' very first release!

Important Added Info: Note that this is a great four-page trade ad taken out of a Kinematograph Weekly English trade magazine (we have two 4-page trade ads in this set of auctions, and also one-page and two-page English trade ads). Studios would run these elaborate 4-page ads in issues of this magazine, and they often had images not found on any of the regular movie posters (either English or U.S.). This 4-page trade ad was removed from a 1947 issue of this magazine, and it will look incredible displayed on the new owner's wall (but of course, they would have to decide which side to display). Also note that this is a "country of origin" item for this English movie.

Condition: good to very good. The ad was removed from a magazine (see above). It was the centerfold of the magazine so the two pages are on a single sheet, and there are staple holes at the spine (see our image).
