An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian Daybill Movie Poster (db; measures 13 1/2" x 30" [34 x 76 cm]) (Learn More) Sign of the Pagan, the 1954 Douglas Sirk Ancient Rome Italy historical epic ("Against his ruthless Pagan lusts... The power of a woman's love!"; "The story of Attila the Hun!"; "Story by Oscar Brodney"; "When a warrior's might a woman's faith and a Pagan's ruthless lusts battled for the fate of civilization!") starring Jeff Chandler (as Marcian), Jack Palance (as Attila the Hun), Ludmilla Tcherina, Rita Gam, Jeff Morrow, George Dolenz, Eduard Franz, Allison Hayes, Alexander Scourby, and Sara Shane NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this daybill was used by The Orpheum theater in Sydney, Australia that originally opened in 1935! The theater featured art deco design, two levels and seating for 1735. The theater was sold in the 1970s and converted into a shopping center. Luckily, in 1986, it was lovingly restored and re-opened as the Hayden Orpheum! Condition: fair to good. There is a "CinemaScope snipe glued across the bottom of the poster that adds approximately 3 1/2" to the overall height of the poster and there are remnants of a theater snipe across the top (the poster was not trimmed and the snipes could surely be removed by a professional restorer, or talented amateur, if one chose to do so). There are many creases throughout the poster and there is some tattering around the edges. Learn More about condition grades
