8 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

A Lost Lady, the 1934 Alfred E. Green & Phil Rosen romantic love triangle melodrama (based on the novel "by Willa Cather"; about a woman whose fiancee was the love of her life, but unknown to her he was cheating on her, and two days before their wedding he is killed by the husband of the woman he was seeing, and that so sours the woman on romance that she knows she will never love again, and she marries an older man she doesn't love, but then things get complicated when she meets a handsome young man who lights a spark in her!) starring Barbara Stanwyck, Frank Morgan, Ricardo Cortez, Lyle Talbot, Phillip Reed, and Hobart Cavanaugh

Important Added Info: Note that this a very rare complete set of lobby cards for this movie (we only auctioned a few stills for this title but NO other movie paper for it whatsoever in all of our years of auctioning!). It might be many years before we are consigned even ONE more lobby card! Also note that that this set of cards which includes the printed envelope this set originally came with, is one of one of a remarkable group of FIFTEEN sets that were recently discovered! All are from 1934 and 1935, and each is in remarkable condition. This is a wonderful opportunity to get complete sets in the best possible condition, and this may not occur again for quite some time (there were only two other sets in this find, "The Phantom Empire", and "Devil Dogs of the Air", and we previously auctioned those two sets by the card). Once these sets are sold there will be no more cards from this find!

Condition: very good to fine. The title card has darkening around the edges and light staining down the left edge (surely caused by being in contact with the flap of the brown bag). Otherwise all eight cards are in exceptional condition (see our images)!
