The Guilty Man, the 1918 Irvin Willat France silent romantic lawyer legal courtroom crime murder melodrama ("D.H. Woods presents his Broadway success 'The Guilty Man'"; based on the novel by Francois Coppee and the play by Charles Klein; about a Frenchman who gets a young girl pregnant, and he becomes a famous prosecutor, and the girl marries a creepy man, and the girl has a daughter who grows up and one day kills her mother's husband, and she is then tried for murder, and the man she does not know if her father is the prosecutor in the case; when he discovers it is actually his own daughter he is supposed to prosecute, he instead puts the blame on her missing father for deserting her, and then dramatically reveals that he is her father, after which of course, she gets off!) starring Vivian Reed, Gloria Hope, William Garwood, J.P. Lockney, and Charles K. French

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that normally, when we sell silent era half-sheets, we send them flat between boards, because the paper they were printed on is quite fragile, and can't be rolled in a tube. However, this poster has aged so remarkably well that it is still "rollable", and we will send it rolled in a tube! Also note that this poster has never been machine folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded once horizontally and once vertically right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded example of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970!

Condition: very good to fine. There is paper loss in the bottom left corner, and a couple of small tears, but otherwise, the poster has survived in remarkable condition!
