She was also the first black person to perform at the Metropolitan Opera in 1955! Some of her songs include: Softly Awakes My Heart, Adeste Fideles, Trampin', and Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen. She passed away in 1993 at the age of 96. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
