Note that this film was first released in a few film festivals before receiving a wide release in 1983. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Graham Humphreys Important Added Info: Note that the last time we auctioned an example of this British quad, it sold for $557, and that example was only in "good" condition! But there is something REALLY COOL AND DIFFERENT about THIS example! We have auctioned it a total of eight times over the years, and ALL of those eight measured roughly 29" x 38", and none of those had white borders as this one does, but none of those appeared trimmed. When you measure the non-white border portion of this poster, it measures very close to 29" x 38", so what we think happened is that the poster was originally made this way, and that someone decided that it looked better without white borders, but they had already printed them, so they just went ahead and trimmed the white borders. This would explain why all the other ones are smaller than regular British quads, but we are just guessing, although it is an educated guess. So this is likely the extremely rare "white border" style! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that even though the poster has "Now on video" printed on it, this poster is from the original theatrical release of this movie in the UK! Palace Pictures tried something new in the UK by releasing this film simultaneously on video and theatrically. This was an attempt to fight video piracy which was at its peak around that time. This poster is rare and 100% original. No other designs were made for this UK theatrical release. Also, Palace Pictures was a small art house company and the film did not get huge distribution. Please bid on this poster knowing that it is surely from the first UK release and is NOT a video poster! Note that this poster was folded at one time but because it has been laying flat for a long time our intention is to send it rolled in a tube. However, because we are certain it would not harm it to re-fold it (because the folds are still there and have not diminished), we can also re-fold it if the buyer needs it to be shipped with folded items. Condition: good to very good. There are small creases and scuffs along parts of the folds and many creases in the left of the bottom border, where there is also a small tear.
