An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Au Pays Du Scalp (released in the U.S. as "The Amazon Head Hunters"), the 1931 Marquis de Wavrin French South America Ecuador Amazon jungle natives documentary. Note that small studios like Sol Lesser's Principal Features loved to buy the U.S. distributing rights to foreign documentaries (especially ones that included footage of nude native women) and released them in the U.S. as lurid melodramas, with extremely misleading posters! One can imagine the disappointment of those entering this movie, expecting something remotely like the poster, and ending up watching a jungle documentary!
Important Added Info: Note that this card has a stamp on the back that indicates it came from the legendary "Cozy Theater" collection! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. There is a faint fine diagonal scuff on the men at right. There are pinholes around the edges, with a tear in the upper right border and tiny paper loss in the top right blank corner. There are three pieces of tape on the back.
