Benson and John Bains", and also based on stories by H.G. Wells and Angus MacPhail; the movie contains four unrelated short films linked by a dream sequence) starring Mervyn Johns, Roland Culver, Frederick Valk, Sally Ann Howes, Googie Withers, Hartley Power, Anthony Baird (billed as "Antony Baird"), Michael Redgrave (wonderful as a ventriloquist whose dummy takes on a life of its own, a plot that was later made the basis of entire movies!), and Ralph Michael NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: This set of 11x14s (and the other similar sets being sold separately on eBay this week) came from a Canadian movie theater that showed a lot of English films. These sets were what the theater was sent along with the films. The stills have a "second generation" look to them, as though they were copies made from other stills (but they are extremely good quality). We do know that these stills were used in the theater right when the films came out, so they are from the original release of the film, but perhaps the distributor created second generation materials for the Canadian market. Please do not bid on this set of stills unless you can accept them as they are. Condition: very good. Each still has minor creases throughout the still. Each still has a tack hole in the bottom center edge of the image background. The still of the man and woman at the table has some dirt smudging in the right border (slightly extending into the image) and a pink smudge in the top edge of the woman's head. The still of the man and woman standing at center has a pink smudge in her face. The still of the man being held back by a lot of people has some dirt smudging in the left border (slightly extending into the image). Learn More about condition grades
