An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Buster Keaton ("The Great Stone Face") was an actor from the 1900s to the 1960s. He was (along with Charlie Chaplin) one of the two most famous comedians in silent movies, and he continued to make sound movies as well. He has too many wonderful movies to list, but some of his movies include: The General, Sherlock Jr., The Cameraman, and he made a very memorable final cameo appearance in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He passed away in 1966 at the age of 70. Important Added Info: Note that this wonderful photo, which shows Buster Keaton in a candid photograph taken right after his wedding to Natalie Talmadge, posing for the photographer (note that some of the people are smiling, but Buster is characteristically stone-faced! There is a partial snipe on the back, which can partially be read, and there is also much pencil writing on the back as well. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Finally, note that a knowledgeable collector tells us that the other people in the photo are "Peg Talmadge (mother of the bride), Norma Talmadge, Joseph Schenck (who was married to Norma at the time), John Pialoglou (Constance Talmadge's then husband), and Constance Talmadge." Condition: very good. The still has lightened slightly. There are smudges around the edges and just a few creases scattered in the image (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
