He is often regarded as one of the greatest and most influential blues guitarists of all time. He is perhaps best known for his popular and influential 1967 album Born Under a Bad Sign. He passed away in 1992 at the age of 69. King was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 1983, and posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. Important Added Info: Note that this is one of sixteen great stills we were consigned that all show black African American musical performers. Such stills are extremely rare. All are clearly originals and most have information on the back indicating that they were publicity stills. In several cases, we have never had any other stills showing these performers, so this is a very rare chance to purchase one or more of these!
