An Original Vintage (likely from 1927 - 1928) Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Paramount News No. 51, a 1920s (likely from 1927 - 1928) poster for the Paramount newsreel ("The Eyes of the world") featuring headlines such as "Airship on Tour!", "Hit Snow Trail!", "Ice Jams Niagara!" "Chicks in Big Town!". Note that we don't know the exact date of this poster but we do know it was from the silent era. The tagline "The Eyes of the World" became "The Eyes and Ears of the World" in the sound era, and Emanuel Cohen was no longer listed as Editor on the posters (he was placed in charge of production for all of Paramount's films). If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: UPDATED 05/27/2015: Note that this poster is from the 1920s (likely from 1927 - 1928) and not the 1940s as we initially listed. Please see the Description above for more details. Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded in half an extra time resulting in a light vertical foldline at left and right. There is some degree of separation in the crossfolds and ends of some foldlines. There are a few water stains at right (between the newly created "crossfolds").
