Artist: Saul Bass

Condition: good. The poster had had all of its white borders trimmed, including the area in the lower right border (to the right of the solid blue box) that included Saul Bass' signature. The person who linenbacked the poster placed new borders around the trimmed poster, but did NOT "fake" Bass' signature. The rest of the image area of the poster had pinholes, creases, tears, and smudges around the edges of the image, more so along the foldlines, with just a few defects in the areas not along the edges and not along the foldlines. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see some signs of the restoration (and of course, the signature of Saul Bass is missing, although any talented restorer could add that to the poster without re-backing it). Please be sure to read the above carefully prior to bidding on this poster!
