Kenton Universal monster horror thriller sequel ("New Thrills as the monster stalks again!"; "Original Story, Eric Taylor"; the fourth Universal Frankenstein movie after the three 1930s classics; in this entry, Bela Lugosi as Ygor resurrects the Frankenstein monster and takes him to the doctor's son and they must find a new brain!) starring Cedric Hardwicke (billed as "Sir Cedric Hardwicke"; as Dr. Ludwig Frankenstein), Ralph Bellamy, Lionel Atwill (as Doctor Bohmer), Bela Lugosi (as Ygor), Evelyn Ankers (as Elsa Frankenstein), Lon Chaney Jr. (as the Frankenstein monster), Holmes Herbert, and Janet Ann Gallow NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. Someone attached to card to a mat from the front of three borders, and when it was removed, it left paper residue and stains in the outer edge of those three borders and caused some small areas of surface paper loss as well (see our image to see exactly where there is paper residue and where there is surface paper loss). None of this affected the image at all, although there is a line around the blank borders, where darkening occurred unevenly because it was in a frame. There is a very fine scuff mark in the upper right of the image, going through the face of the man at right, but it is very fine and barely noticeable. Obviously, the card could be displayed as is with the borders covered, or one could choose to have restoration performed to the borders.
