She is best remembered for her co-starring roles with Nelson Eddy in opera-like musicals of the 1930s, but she was very entertaining in earlier movies, including the classic "Love Me Tonight", opposite Maurice Chevalier and directed by Ernst Lubitsch! Some of her other movies include: The Sun Comes Up, Cairo, and The Merry Widow. She was married to actor Gene Raymond from 1937 until her passing in 1965. AND Gene Raymond (born Raymond Guion) was an actor from the 1930s to the 1970s. Some of his movies include: The Best Man, Red Dust, and If I Had a Million. Note that Mr. Raymond was married to actress Jeanette MacDonald from 1937 until her passing in 1965. In 1974, he married again, and he remained married until his second wife's passing in 1995.
