Goddard"; a wacky story of a radio broadcaster who thinks he's killed somebody, and he ends up hiding in the trunk of a woman on her way to Cuba, where she has inherited a spooky island off the coast, and that is just the beginning of this unusual blend of horror, mystery, and comedy!) starring Bob Hope, Paulette Goddard, Richard Carlson, Paul Lukas, Anthony Quinn, Willie Best, and Noble Johnson (as the zombie!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only once before auctioned an example of this half-sheet, and that was 5 years ago, when that example sold for $830! Also note that this poster was gel backed, and while it could be rolled and sent in a tube, we would worry that doing so would either damage the poster or bring back the folds. Therefore, we would much prefer to send it in a large flat package. However, if the new buyer insists, we will send it in a tube, but only if they accept responsibility for doing so. Condition: good. The poster had fine surface paper loss and creases along both folds, and pinholes, tears, and tiny paper loss around the edges. It appears that someone had once restored the poster and then displayed it, causing it to fade, and then now someone has re-restored it with gel backing, but they did not address the fading issue, and there is some old restoration paint on the folds and in Lukas' cheek that is quite noticeable, because it has aged differently than the poster.
