An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (measures 39 1/2" x 55") (Learn More) Il Grido (released in the U.S. in 1962 under the original title, as well as "Outcry" and "The Cry"), the 1957 Michelangelo Antonioni (the movie he made just prior to L'avventura, which gave him international fame) Italian/U.S. tragic romantic psychological melodrama (about a man whose mistress learns her husband has died, and then breaks off their relationship leaving him empty, and searching for something to repair his shattered life) starring Alida Valli (often billed as "Valli"; best remembered as the female lead of The Third Man), Steve Cochran, Betsy Blair, Dorian Gray, Gabriella Pallotta, and Lynn Shaw NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Dante Manno Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Italian movie! Also note that this Italian one-panel measures 39 1/2" x 55". Condition: very good. The poster had creases, tiny tears, and some tiny areas of paper loss down much of the vertical foldline, and a much lesser amount on the horizontal foldlines. There were some pinholes, creases, and tears, and just a couple of areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster in the blank borders.
