An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More)

Richard Bonelli was an actor and opera singer from the 1910s to the 1970s. He was only in two movies: Enter Madame!, and The Hard-Boiled Canary. Bonelli was an operatic baritone who sang both in the United States and Europe. He made his debut at the Metropolitan Opera in 1932 as Rossini's Figaro, and went on to play Valentin in Gounod's Faust, as well as Wolfram in Wanger's Tannhauser during his career. Bonelli passed away in 1980 at the age of 91.
Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Richard Bonelli (the still is from the 1936 play, but Mr. Bonelli signed it three years later, which we know by looking at the date under his signature)!

Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1970s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity.

Condition: very good.
