An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Teaser Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20" x 28 1/2") (Learn More) Uchu Kara no Messeji (released in the U.S. in 1978 as "Message From Space"), the 1977 Kinji Fukasaku Japanese outer space science fiction (sci-fi) fantasy action thriller ("HELP US HELP US HELP US"; "where fantasies are real & reality is FANTASTIC"; "With a SPECIAL EFFECTS and SPACE FLYING OBJECTS TECHNICAL UNIT") starring Vic Morrow, Philip Casnoff, Peggy Lee Brennan, Sonny Chiba, Sue Shiomi, Tetsuro Tamba, and Eisei Amamoto (in drag!). Note that this movie was made right after Star Wars, and it shows, because depending on how you look at it, it was either an homage to Star Wars, or a rip-off of it, with some American actors and Sonny Chiba too! Important Added Info: Note that this poster has only a small area of Japanese writing in the lower left corner, and that most of the writing on it is in English. However, the poster is exactly the same size and is on exactly the same type of paper as Japanese posters (and this is not a size that we are aware was ever used for U.S. posters), so therefore we believe this is a Japanese poster. If anyone knows otherwise, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this is a rare teaser Japanese B2 poster (note the complete lack of credits on the poster). Also note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie!
