An Original Vintage Unfolded Stage Play Poster (measures 20 1/4" x 27 1/2" [51 x 70 cm]) (Learn More)

Ole Olson, the circa 1910s stage play production starring Ben Hendricks. Note that we can find little information about the play or Ben Hendricks. We have seen him promoted as "The best Swedish dialect comedian", and the play as "The best Swedish comedy drama". Based on newspapers ads, he performed this show from the 1900s to at least the 1910s. If anyone knows more about this production, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: fair to good. The poster has significant creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges. One of the tears at right is large and extends into the artwork at center. It has a few others are repaired with tape from the back. It has a title snipe at upper center and another snipe glued along the lower edge. It is over or nearly 100 years old and certainly the poster could be restored and linenbacked and it would look great, but please bear in mind its defects and cost of restoration before placing a bid.
