An Original Vintage Folded Polish Event Poster (19x27; measures 19 1/2" x 27 3/4") (Learn More) Dymarki 68, the 1968 Polish poster advertising a two-day ceremony involving the lighting of reconstructed ancient furnaces, called a "bloomery" (dyamarka), that were used to extract iron from the soil using a process of mixing and burning soil with charcoal. This event was a major tourist attraction that would bring thousands from all over the world to watch. This ceremony was opened by the PTTK, Zarzad Okregu from Kielce, "Slowa Luda", and the Prezydium Wojewodzkiej Rady Narodowej from Kielce which was held in Slupia Nowa, Poland September 14 through September 15, 1968! Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good.
