The dreaded Daleks... Robots with a super-human brain have come to destroy!!!"; "From the original BBC TV serial by Terry Nation"; based on the "Doctor Who" English TV series) starring Peter Cushing (in the title role as Dr. Who), Roy Castle, Jennie Linden, Roberta Tovey, and Barrie Ingham. Note that this film was based on the classic TV show, but changed several aspects (such as the title character being a human scientist in this film, and an alien in the series). We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster has never been machine folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were machine folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters. Condition: good. The poster was never folded. It has been bordered on the front with masking tape (very slightly touching the green background in a few areas at top and the NSS disclaimer at lower left). It has a long partial horizontal crease at center, and some diagonal creases at upper left and lower right. It has a faint red ink pad stamp at lower right and several scuff marks and creases scattered in various areas (especially near center and lower right.) Despite the defects certainly many collectors would choose to display this very rare poster as is, but after paperbacking with some proper restoration the poster will display well (but of course bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.)
