An Original Vintage Autographed Deluxe 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" [11 x 17 cm] Still (Learn More) Richard Dix (born Ernest Carlton Brimmer) was an actor from the 1920s to the 1940s. He was a major star at Paramount in the 1920s and 1930s. Some of his movies include: Cimarron (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Vanishing American, Redskin, and The Ten Commandments. He passed away in 1949 at the age of 56. His son, Robert Dix, was an actor who was just 14 when his dad passed away, and Robert passed away in 2018 at the age of 83. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Richard Dix! Note that this still is printed on a deluxe heavyweight paper stock. Also note that this item has been trimmed and it now measures 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" [11 x 17 cm]. Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who was a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items, and over the years he did not re-sell any of the autographed items. Now he has gathered up together all of his autographed items and consigned them to us. So all of the items from this consignor we are auctioning were purchased by this dealer from longtime dealers and collectors, and we feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic! Condition: good. The still was unevenly trimmed (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
