An Undated (probably 1920s) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 10 1/4" x 13 1/4" [26 x 34 cm]) (Learn More)

The Disciple, the 1915 William S. Hart and Clifford Smith silent minister family relationship romantic cowboy western ("with an all-star cast"; like most of Hart's movies, this one had a detailed complicated plot that covered many years; about a minister with a sleazy wife, and she runs off with a gambler, leaving the minister with a young daughter; the minister takes the child to another town, and the child gets very ill, and at the end of the movie, the wife chooses to return to her husband and daughter) starring William S. Hart, Dorothy Dalton, Thelma Salter, and Robert McKim. Note that (like in "5 Card Stud" decades later) Hart plays a minister who carries a gun, which earns him the nickname "Shootin' Iron Jim" (apparently you get more respect in church with guns at your side).

Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 10 1/4" x 13 1/4" [26 x 34 cm].
