An Original Vintage Linenbacked Circus Poster (measures 19 3/4" x 28") (Learn More)

Seal Bros. Circus, the circa 1930s circus poster featuring an image of an elephant charging through the jungle! ("Giant Jungle Beast"). We know that the Seal Bros. Circus operated from the 1930s (or earlier) through the 1950s (or later), and the printing and paper of the poster makes us think it is likely from the 1930s, but that is just an educated guess. The poster was printed by the "NEAL WALTERS POSTER CORP., EUREKA SPRINGS, ARK.". If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good. The poster was backed on to a very thin linen backing, likely many years ago. Prior to linenbacking, the poster had been folded once in each direction and there was some extra horizontal and vertical creases. The person who backed the poster pretty much just backed it, without doing any restoration, but there really wasn't much wrong with the poster, and it displays pretty well just as it is.
