(Learn More) Rachel Field's Time Out of Mind, the 1947 Robert Siodmak ("Produced and Directed by Robert Siodmak who directed 'The Dark Mirror' and 'The Killers'") family conflict romantic melodrama ("Chained to a man she dare not love!"; "From the Great Novel by Rachel Field author of 'All This and Heaven Too'"; about the son of a wealthy shipping magnate who decides to pursue a career in music rather than in the family business, upsetting his family to no end) starring Phyllis Calvert, Robert Hutton, Ella Raines, Eddie Albert, Leo G. Carroll, Helena Carter, and John Abbott. Note that English Phyllis Calvert made her American debut in this movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this pressbook has two large cut-outs from the back cover. Please do not bid on this pressbook thinking it is complete! Also note that pressbooks were prepared prior to a movie being released. Often, changes would be made in a movie advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed. These supplements are very rare, far more rare than the pressbooks themselves! Some pressbooks would have no supplements, some would have one, and some would have several. Condition: good. two cut-outs on back cover. Note that this pressbook is one of a great collection of 177 original vintage pressbooks, almost all of which come from Universal Studios. Most date from the 1940s and 1950s, and almost all are complete and uncut! other than the two cut-outs the pressbook was folded twice; many small water stains on the front cover; surface paper loss and rough creases across center of cover; small tears around the edges of all pages.
