An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Banjo On My Knee, the 1936 John Cromwell romantic riverboat musical rich-man-poor-girl marriage comedy ("He's not a drinking man, but what a thirst he has for adventure!"; "Based on a novel by Harry Hamilton"; Joel McCrea is rich Walter Brennan's son, and Brennan wants a grandson really bad, but McCrea marries way beneath him with "land girl" Stanwyck, but worse yet, they can't seem to consummate their marriage) starring Barbara Stanwyck, Joel McCrea, Helen Westley, Buddy Ebsen (in his fourth movie role!), Walter Brennan, Walter Catlett, Tony Martin (billed as "Anthony Martin"), Katherine DeMille, and Victor Kilian. Note that this is a full musical, and Stanwyck sings and dance for perhaps the only time in her career! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Triangle created one-sheets for movies that were distributed to theaters who (for one reason or another) had difficulty obtaining studio issue paper. There is much separation in most of the foldlines of the poster. There is patchy discoloration scattered in a few areas of the poster due to exposure to moisture.
