Artist: Saul Bass
Important Added Info: Note that everyone agrees that this poster and "Vertigo" are Saul Bass' two best posters, and it has continued to surprise me that the Vertigo poster regularly sells for much more than this poster! Personally, I like this image just as much (or better) than the image on the Vertigo poster, and I also like this movie just as much (or better) than Veritgo! I think this is an imbalance in the "poster marketplace" that is sure to get corrected over time. I see no reason why one of these posters should sell for less than the other!

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor wear on the foldlines. There were a few faint smudges scattered in the solid colored background areas. There were some pinholes and stains in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
