Putney Swope, the cult classic 1969 Robert Downey Sr. advertising outrageous black sexploitation comedy ("Up Madison Ave."; "The Truth and Soul Movie"; about a black African American man who accidentally takes over a major Madison Avenue advertising agency and makes massive changes, starting with removing all of the white executives and replacing them with black ones, except for a single "token" white man) starring Arnold Johnson (in the title role as Putney Swope), Allan Arbus, Eddie Gordon, Chuck Green, Laura Greene, and Walter Jones. Note that director Downey re-dubbed all of star Arnold Johnson's lines!

Important Added Info: Note that this poster looks like it SHOULD be a teaser (due to the lack of credits), but there is no poster WITH credits, so we do not consider it a teaser (there is a different second style, but the only difference is that it doesn't have the "Up Madison Ave." tagline and that the image is larger). If anyone HAS seen a first release poster from this movie that does have credits, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good. There are some smudges and stains scattered throughout the poster. There is writing on the back of the poster that slightly bleeds through to the front (mostly at bottom in the title area). There are creases scattered throughout the poster (more so along the foldlines and edges). There are a few tack holes scattered throughout the poster with some enlarged from rough removal.
