An Original Vintage Unfolded Circus Poster (measures 21 1/2" x 28") (Learn More)

Biller Bros 3 Ring Circus, the 1950 circus poster ("Greenfield show grounds afternoon and night Wed. June 14"; "Ken Maynard and his wonder horse Tarzan in Person"). The poster features cool artwork of a lion! Note that our research indicates that this circus was only in existence from 1949 to 1951, and the day and date on the poster correspond to 1950 exactly. Of course, Ken's horse Tarzan died in 1940, and this poster advertises him appear with "Tarzan", but we imagine they might well have slipped in an impostor Tarzan! If anyone knows more about this circus or this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that the poster has a large snipe glued to the bottom border. The actual poster measures 21 1/2" x 28", and the snipe measures 8" x 28".

Condition: very good. There are creases, smudges, and a few dot stains around the edges of the poster. There was a 2" tear in the lower right of the poster that was repaired with clear tape from the back. The snipe is tattered down its left edge with some stains. Other than the above, the poster and snipe are in pretty good condition!
