She was one of the top silent actresses, who specialized in playing young girl roles as an adult, and she was called "America's Sweetheart", and when she married Douglas Fairbanks, Sr., the country rejoiced (and the country mourned when they divorced!). Some of her movies include: Little Annie Rooney (in the title role), Sparrows, My Best Girl, Coquette (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role), and Tess of the Storm Country AND Jon Hall (born Charles Locher) was an actor from the 1930s to the 1960s. He changed his name professionally to Jon Hall in order to capitalize on his relationship to his uncle, author James Norman Hall. Some of his movies include: The Hurricane, The Invisible Man's Revenge, Invisible Agent, Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, and Arabian Nights Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Mary Pickford AND Jon Hall (each star signed on a different side; see our images of both sides)! Our consignor purchased a collection of autographs that were obtained by a bartender at Club 21 in New York City named "Pat", and they were obtained starting in the 1940s. He did not receive a certificate of authenticity, but we have examined the signatures, and we feel sure they are authentic (and most of the ones from this collection are personalized "To Pat"). It could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display (but of course, you would have to choose which signature to display)! Condition: very good.
