An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Prince of Pep, the 1925 Jack Nelson silent romantic amnesia doctor medical superhero melodrama (this movie was WAY ahead of its time!; it is about a rich young doctor who has a sideline of entertaining kids in hospitals; he discovers people stealing drugs from him, including a girl he was sweet on, and he is knocked out and thrown in the river, but miraculously, he recovers, but he has lost his memory, and he is now a split personality, and one of them is a superhero called the "Black Flash", who robs rich gamblers and gives the money to poor children!) starring Richard Talmadge, Nola Luxford, Carol Wines, Joseph Harrington, and Brinsley Shaw. Note that Richard Talmadge was born "Sylvester Alphonse Metz", and he was an acrobat with the Barnum and Bailey Circus. He got a job in Hollywood as a stuntman for Douglas Fairbanks Sr., and then graduated to starring in movies, always performing lots of stunts. He had two acrobat brothers, Otto Metzetti and Victor Metz, who appeared with him in some of his movies. Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good.
