A Group of 324 Photographic Negatives, Transparencies, Contact Sheets, and more (ranging in size from 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" [4 x 4 cm] to 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]; see below for what is included in this lot) (Learn More) Karen Black was an actress from the 1960s to the 2010s. She is likely best remembered for having crossed eyes, and for her classic role opposite Jack Nicholson in Five Easy Pieces (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film). Some of her movies include: Nashville, Family Plot, Easy Rider, Portnoy's Complaint, Airport 1975, and The Player. She passed away in 2013 at the age of 74. Important Added Info: Note that this huge collection of images of Karen Black show her modeling clothes that she wore in the 1972 movie "Portnoy's Complaint". We don't know for what purpose these were created, but surely it was some promotion of some kind related to the movie. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this lot contains the following: 47 color transparencies (2 1/2" x 2 1/2"), most of which are on strips of 4 that have not been cut, 36 negatives (2 1/2" x 2 1/2") in uncut strips of 4, 37 other negatives that are in strips of 2, 3, and 4, 193 negatives (1 1/4" x 1 1/4") that are mostly in uncut sheets of 5, 2 negatives (4" x 5"). There are four 8" x 10" contact sheets that contain a total of 20 images of Miss Black. Finally, there are three 11" x 14" contact sheets containing 52 small images of Miss Black, and two 11x14s with single images of Miss Black. Note: We have 17 images of the negatives in this set, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 17 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 7. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
