An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/4" x 9" [18 x 23 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

The House I Live In, the 1945 Mervyn LeRoy bully racial religious tolerance short (Sinatra comes upon a group of boys who are bullying another boy because he is the "wrong religion", and he sets them straight that what they're doing is wrong and is also "un-American", and Sinatra sings the title song, sometimes referred to "What America Means to Me") starring Frank Sinatra, Harry McKim, Teddy Infuhr, Merrill Rodin, and Axel Stordahl. Note that this short was made immediately after World War II, during the time when the details of the Holocaust were coming to light, and it was a plea for Americans to end prejudice against people with different religions (specifically Jewish people, although that was not directly mentioned).

Important Added Info: Note that first release material on this classic short subject is incredibly rare! We have previously sold two stills and the sheet music, but never any other sort of movie paper. Note that this still measures 7 1/4" x 9" [18 x 23 cm], but it has not been trimmed.

Condition: very good to fine.
