An Original Vintage Unfolded World War I Poster (measures 20" x 30" [51 x 76 cm]) (Learn More)

Women! Help America's Sons Win the War, the 1917 U.S. World War I (WWI) War Bond poster ("Buy U.S. Government Bonds 2nd Liberty Loan of 1917") encouraging women to buy war bonds, and featuring R.H. Parteous art of an older woman with her arms outstretched in front of an American flag, and battle scenes in the background.

Artist: R.H. Parteous

Condition: fair to good. The poster has tears and paper loss around the edges, mostly in the blank borders, but there is paper loss in the top right corner (but fortunately, mostly only in solid colored areas). There is a 12" tear in the bottom center of the poster and a similar one in the top center of the poster, and both of those have tape on the back. There is also tape on the back of many of the border tears and some clear tape on the front of the top center of the poster. Obviously, this poster is in urgent need of professional restoration, so bear that in mind before placing a bid on it.
